Coleslaw
Our new favorite salad!
1 sliced or shredded head of cabbage
2 shredded carrots
2 bunches of chopped green onion
Sauce:
3 finely chopped cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger
Sautéed in
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 Tablespoon chili paste
½ cup rice wine vinegar
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup sesame oil
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro- optional
In a large bowl combine cabbage, carrots and onions. Briefly sauté garlic and ginger, being careful not to brown. Pour over cabbage mixture. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
